The Cochrane Activettes are celebrating their 40th year of “Working Together – Forgetting Ourselves – Helping the Community” in 2018. The Cochrane Activettes is a women’s service club, started in 1978, devoted to making the community a better place. The Cochrane Activettes raise funds throughout the year. Funds raised are used in support of our annual service projects, community organizations, sports groups and seniors projects.
Thanks to all who donated and volunteered at the food drive. It was exceptional!! A big shout out to Helping Hands who make it happen!
There is a need year round for monetary and food bank donations. Monetary donations are used to purchase fresh produce and school items. Non-perishable food items for the regular Food Bank program, may be dropped off at local food stores.
Clothing, shoes and accessories in good condition are always needed. Many community volunteers donate thousands of hours to help the Cochrane Activettes provide our community with clean, gently used clothing at minimal or no cost. The Clothesline is a non profit, all proceeds used to fund many Cochrane Community programs.
