The Cochrane Activettes are celebrating their 40th year of “Working Together – Forgetting Ourselves – Helping the Community” in 2018. The Cochrane Activettes is a women’s service club, started in 1978, devoted to making the community a better place. The Cochrane Activettes raise funds throughout the year. Funds raised are used in support of our annual service projects, community organizations, sports groups and seniors projects.
There is a need year round for monetary and food bank donations. Monetary donations are used to purchase fresh produce and school items. Non-perishable food items for the regular Food Bank program, may be dropped off at Save on Foods, No Frills or Safeway Food Bank Bins.
Thanks to all of the volunteers who helped us collect donations, move in and prepare food and toy hampers. Also to Cochrane Events and all who helped at Stuff A Bus. A big shout out to Wheels for Kids who refurbished and donated all of the bikes.
