First Responder Parades

The annual First Responders Parades are tentatively scheduled to kick off on Nov. 15 in the Sunset Community.

Members of Cochrane Fire, RCMP, EMS, municipal enforcement, and Victim Services will be doing 11 parades stretching until Dec. 8 in support of the Cochrane Activettes food bank.

The parades will run from 5 to 7 pm on the below dates:

Crews will be accepting gift cards, unwrapped gifts, and nonperishable food items.

Local people Supporting Locals in Need.

Food bank time!

Starting November 1st until November 15th these amazing local Cochrane Businesses are lending a hand to the Food Bank of Cochrane and area.
The need is greater than ever before, National Food Bank numbers, Alberta has had the Largest increase with over 29.6% more use than last year.
We recognise that our neighbours need our help and that is why these amazing local companies are donating a portion of their sales for the next 2 weeks.
From select food menu items, adult beverage alcohol items, we will contribute a portion to the local Food Bank.
Join us and take part of something amazing for the next couple weeks and stop into visit these local businesses
